A Memorial Diamond (also called a Memory Diamond) is a laboratory-grown diamond created using advanced CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) technology. For certain memorial orders, a small portion of purified carbon extracted from customer-submitted material (such as hair or cremation remains) may be incorporated into the diamond growth process.

  • Chemically, physically, and optically comparable to mined diamonds
  • Created in a controlled laboratory environment
  • Not a natural mined diamond

2. Important Scientific Clarification

Submitted material undergoes carbon extraction and purification. The process isolates carbon at a molecular level, and the diamond is grown as a crystalline carbon structure in a laboratory environment.

  • The final gemstone does not contain biological tissue, DNA, or physical remains
  • Memorial diamonds are defined by carbon contribution origin, not preservation of biological matter
  • Specifications may vary due to controlled growth conditions and trace elements

Memorial diamond production typically requires 20–45 business days beginning only after the required sample is received and verified by an authorized warehouse or laboratory.

6. Certification & Verification

Memorial orders may include brand authenticity documentation with a unique Certificate ID and online verification access (where applicable). This confirms the item is recorded within Black Jack and matches stored specifications.
