Cancellation Policy.

Black Jack offers a limited cancellation window for eligible orders. Because many Black Jack products are custom-made, personalized or produced specifically for one customer, cancellation eligibility changes once production, customization or laboratory work begins.

This policy applies to purchases made through BrandBlackJack.us and should be read together with our Return & Refund Policy, Terms of Service, Shipping Policy and Payment Policy.

Last Updated: August 27, 2026. Cancellation requests are reviewed according to the order status at the time Black Jack receives the request. Sending a cancellation email does not itself guarantee cancellation; Black Jack must confirm whether the order remains eligible.

Order Type Matters

Standard orders and made-to-order products are treated differently.

Standard Jewelry Non-Custom / Ready-to-Process Orders

A standard, non-custom jewelry order may be eligible for cancellation if Black Jack receives the cancellation request within 24 hours of purchase and the order has not entered production, fulfillment or shipment.

  • Eligibility remains subject to mandatory consumer law
Custom & Memory Made Exclusively for One Customer

Custom jewelry, personalized specifications and Memory Diamond orders are created specifically for the buyer. Once Black Jack or an authorized production partner commits labor, materials, laboratory capacity or irreversible work to the order, cancellation can be restricted or unavailable.

  • Custom design / CAD / personalized specification work
  • Engraving, resizing or product modification
  • Memory Diamond laboratory allocation or sample processing
  • Carbon preparation, diamond growth, cutting or certification

Order Confirmation & Production Stage

Cancellation depends on what has already happened to the order.

Payment and order confirmation establish the order. The ability to cancel after that point depends on whether Black Jack has already committed resources or started customer-specific work.

Payment Completed

The payment has been accepted and the order confirmation has been issued.

Review / Allocation

Inventory, production capacity, laboratory slot, design or materials may be reserved.

Production Begins

Custom work, fabrication, laboratory processing, engraving, sizing, certification or other committed work begins.

Fulfilled / Shipped

Once dispatched, the cancellation process ends and any eligible post-delivery rights are handled under the Return & Refund Policy.

Custom & Memory Diamond Orders

Production may begin at different points depending on the product.

Some custom products can begin with design, CAD or material allocation immediately after payment. Memory Diamond orders can involve a separate sample stage, laboratory scheduling and production preparation.

A delay in submitting information, ring size, approvals or a required personal sample does not automatically restore a cancellation right if Black Jack has already committed non-recoverable costs or production capacity.

Common Non-Cancelable Situations

These stages normally mean the order has already incurred committed work or cost.

Customization Started

CAD, personalized design, engraving, resizing, modification or other customer-specific production has begun.

Laboratory Processing Started

Memory sample handling, carbon preparation, growth preparation, diamond growth or related laboratory work has started.

Certification / Finalization Started

Cutting, polishing, certificate preparation, jewelry setting or final QC has begun.

Order Dispatched

Once a shipment has been handed to the carrier, cancellation is no longer available.

Delays are not automatically cancellation grounds: holidays, laboratory scheduling, carrier delays, customs clearance, weather events or other timing changes do not automatically create a right to cancel. However, this does not limit any cancellation, refund or delivery rights that applicable consumer law may require in a particular jurisdiction.

How to Request Cancellation

Send the request as early as possible.

Step 01 Email Black Jack

Send the request to memorydiamond@brandblackjack.us from the email address used for the order where possible.

Step 02 Include Order Details

Include your Order ID, customer name, checkout email and the item you wish to cancel.

Step 03 Black Jack Checks the Stage

The team reviews whether the order is still uncommitted, in production, completed or already dispatched.

Step 04 Written Outcome

Black Jack confirms whether cancellation is approved, partially refundable, unavailable or redirected to the return process.

Approved Cancellations, Refunds & Payment Disputes

Cancellation approval and refund amount are related, but not always identical.

Where cancellation is approved, the refund is generally returned to the original payment method, subject to documented committed costs and processor charges where permitted by applicable law.

If a payment dispute or chargeback is opened, Black Jack may provide the payment processor or issuing bank with order confirmations, policy records, production records, shipping evidence and customer communications relevant to the dispute.

International Customers

Mandatory local consumer rights continue to apply.

Black Jack serves customers in supported international markets. Consumer, cancellation and refund rules can differ by country or region, particularly for custom-made and personalized products.

Local Law

This policy does not waive rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted in the customer’s jurisdiction.

Custom-Made Exceptions

Some jurisdictions provide different cancellation/withdrawal treatment for goods made to a customer’s specifications or clearly personalized.

Export / Customs Costs

If shipment or export processing has already begun, carrier or customs-related costs can affect the available resolution where legally permitted.

After Dispatch

Once shipped, cancellation becomes a return/refund issue and should follow the authorized return process.

Can I cancel a standard jewelry order?
A standard, non-custom order may be eligible if Black Jack receives the request within 24 hours of purchase and the order has not entered production, fulfillment or shipment.
Can I cancel a Memory Diamond order?
Eligibility depends on the order stage. Once Black Jack or an authorized production partner has committed laboratory capacity, sample processing, carbon preparation, diamond growth or other irreversible customer-specific work, cancellation may no longer be available except where applicable law requires otherwise.
What if I have not sent my hair or ashes yet?
Not sending the sample does not automatically guarantee a full cancellation. Black Jack may already have reserved production capacity, completed design work or incurred other order-specific costs. The actual stage and documented committed costs are reviewed before confirming the available resolution.
Can I cancel after the order has shipped?
No cancellation can be processed after dispatch. Any eligible post-delivery return, exchange or refund must follow the Return & Refund Policy and applicable law.
Does a holiday or laboratory delay let me cancel?
A timing delay alone does not automatically create a cancellation right. However, mandatory delivery or cancellation rights under applicable consumer law are not excluded by this policy.
How quickly should I send a cancellation request?
Immediately. The sooner the request is received, the more likely the order may still be before production or committed work. For eligible standard orders, the general request window is within 24 hours of purchase.
Where will an approved refund be sent?
Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method. Currency, bank-processing and exchange-rate effects can influence the amount displayed by the customer’s bank or card provider.
Can I still contact my bank or card issuer if I disagree?
Customers retain legitimate payment-dispute rights available through their payment provider or applicable law. Black Jack may respond to a dispute with relevant order, policy, production, shipping and communication records.
